Video Production Lead
Smytten
Mar, 2024 — Present
At Smytten, I built and led a close-knit video production team of six, working to simplify workflows and make sure video requests from different departments flowed smoothly. Every month, we created over 30 pieces of content for more than 50 well-known FMCG brands like Nivea, Cetaphil, CeraVe, and Plum. I also focused on directing brand films and creative campaigns that really connected with audiences, boosting conversion rates by at least 20% for some of our top products.
On the B2B side, I handled video strategies for Smytten’s SaaS offerings like Smytten Pulse and PulseSurveyAI, making sure the videos felt relatable and human, not just technical. From planning and scripting to directing and editing, I oversaw the whole process to deliver polished content that fit perfectly with our monthly calendars across social media, in-app experiences, and paid campaigns. It was all about blending creativity with strategy to bring the brand’s story to life.
Senior Content Producer
Engage Digital Partners
Nov, 2016 — Feb, 2024
At Engage Digital Partners (now part of Brave Bison), I was fortunate to be part of a core team driving creative production across some incredible sports campaigns spanning India, UK, and Middle East. A big part of my role was the ‘Bridge to India’ initiative, handling video production for global names like Major League Baseball, Chelsea FC, Real Madrid, and Sevilla FC. From managing a talented team of producers and editors to driving content strategy and streamlining workflows, the pace was intense and rewarding. One of my proudest contributions was designing a live match editing workflow during the Indian Super League, which allowed us to release full-match highlights within 10 minutes—even on doubleheader days. I also oversaw budgeting and vendor coordination, helping the agency cut costs while maintaining top-tier quality.
Throughout my time there, I directed and produced a wide range of sports content. Few key projects include Out of the Blue for Chelsea FC featuring Arjun Kapoor and Ranveer Singh, The NBA India Weekly Show with Anant Tyagi, Harman Singha, and others, and the NBA Abu Dhabi Games 2023 vlog, where I got to meet legends like Ray Allen and stars like Luka Dončić and Kyrie Irving. I led on-ground content for MI Emirates during the ILT20, working closely with players like Dwayne Bravo and Kieron Pollard. I also directed Nunca Te Rindas for Sevilla FC featuring Dinesh Karthik, and Chelsea’s Blue Mode and Blues in India with Shreyas Iyer, Mortal, and Ahaan Shetty. Another standout was Diamonds in the Rough for MLB India, and a pitch video for the ICC that helped secure a four-year contract—proof of the power of good storytelling.
Freelance Video Producer & Director
Several Clients
2014 — 2016
Working as a freelance producer and director has been a rewarding adventure full of diverse creative projects. I got my start directing ads for Stylior Suits and CATs, which gave me valuable hands-on experience in telling compelling brand stories. I’ve also made corporate films for major clients like HUL, Mastek, Asian Paints, Abbott, and Ernst & Young, crafting videos that really fit each company’s unique voice.
Early on, I interned at MTV Coke Studio and MTV Unplugged, where I learned the ropes of music and live production. Those experiences laid the foundation for my passion for creating high-quality content that balances creativity with purpose.
